Modal Offers In-House Coffee, Beer, & Wine

With a micro-coffee bar inside the front lobby of this LA-inspired hostel, Modal offers a truly unique experience. Exclusively serving locally roasted Junto coffee, the Southern bespoke concept offers both locals and travelers a one-of-a-kind space, full of unique midcentury furnishings, eclectic decor, and locally sourced artwork available on consignment. Launching with a promotional campaign in 2016, Modal started out as just an idea, and now five years later Greenville’s First hostel has made its debut and made global news in FORBES magazine as a 2021 HOSCAR Award Winner for Extraordinary Inclusive Hostel by Hostelworld.com. Owners Joe Hindman and David Stone Jr. have poured their personal passion into this project and worked hard to create a truly unique lodging experience for travelers from across the world. Complete with local art and stellar southern hospitality, this one-of-a-kind hostel will keep you coming back to Greenville year after year.
