Birds Fly South's urban farmhouse, located at Hampton Station in Greenville’s West End Water Tower District right along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Set in a revitalized 15,000 square foot wool mill, there is plenty of space for you, your friends, and kiddos to socialize. Our main taproom includes an outdoor patio, large lawn space, and Biergarten. Enjoy perusing the other areas and vendors of Hampton Station while enjoying our robust beer menu. We have a revolving tap list of 14 beers that’s updated weekly, as well as some snacks and White Duck Taco shop next door and food trucks available. We invite you to come by, try something new, and spend a relaxed afternoon with friends and community. Your well-behaved, leashed dog is welcome both inside and outside the Birdhouse. There is ample free parking in the main Hampton Station lot with vehicle charging stations. 4 years after opening our brewery doors we are honored and humbled by the support of our community and the success we've achieved. What started as a vision for opening up a small mom and pop style brewery has now grown into creating over 3,500 barrels of beer across 5 different states. Our Brewery’s Name The name Birds Fly South came about as an homage to the Johnson family’s life and migratory flight from Florida, Alaska, Florida, D.C. and eventually to Greenville where they’ve settled down and bypass harsh winters. Originally hailing from Florida and the Carolina’s, their family (their flock), was always looking to find their back to the south.
